DANB's Glossary of Dental Assisting Terms, 2nd Edition familiarizes candidates with vocabulary they may encounter on the DANB exams as well as in the office and clinical setting. DANB's Conventional Dental Radiography Review Course: This review course covers conventional dental radiography. This course is intended for chairside assistants or dental assisting students with varying degrees of dental radiography knowledge. Learners should have some background in dental radiography and possess at least a basic understanding of professional vocabulary related to dental radiography and general dental assisting duties. It is an online interactive course with an audio component. The course is self-paced and does not need to be completed in one sitting. Learners can go back and revisit course topics after completion. DANB's exam development publications are useful to item writers, test construction committee members and educators.
DANB's Task Analysis provides outlines for all of the tasks performed by dental assistants, orthodontic assistants and dental assistants/office personnel in the practice management nationwide. The Task Analysis also provides a list of common dental acronyms, a sample vocabulary list, and sample exam questions with answers and supporting rational. A bibliography is printed in the back of the book to help direct you to other study material.
